Market Summer Solstice Celebration
Saturday Jun 25We may be a bit biased, but the Holland Farmers Market is definitely something to celebrate! From amazing vendors and the freshest products around to weekly events and a festive atmosphere…what’s not to love?
If you love the Market as much as we do, then be sure to join us on Saturday, June 25 from 10am – 3pm for the first ever Market Summer Solstice Celebration! There will be free activities for the whole family to enjoy, including a petting zoo hosted by the Critter Barn, barrel train rides from Visser Farms, a scarecrow stilt walker, a pie eating contest with pies donated from Bowerman Blueberries Farm Market and the demonstrations listed below. Not to mention great giveaways all day long too!
10am: Christine Ferris from The Farmhouse Deli and Pantry will demonstrate how to prepare a spinach roulade filled with herbed chevre and a smoky vegetable bahn mi.
11am: Steve Van Dommelen and Julie DeHaan from Hops at 84 East will show attendees how to make refreshing and delicious summer cocktails.

1pm: The Holland Area Master Gardeners will share their top summer gardening tips.
2pm: The Holland Area Bee Keepers Association will teach the audience all about beekeeping and why it’s becoming so popular with their observation hive.
