Market Summer Solstice Celebration

Saturday Jun 25
Downtown Holland & Holland Farmers Market

We may be a bit biased, but the Holland Farmers Market is definitely something to celebrate! From amazing vendors and the freshest products around to weekly events and a festive atmosphere…what’s not to love?

If you love the Market as much as we do, then be sure to join us on Saturday, June 25 from 10am – 3pm for the first ever Market Summer Solstice Celebration! There will be free activities for the whole family to enjoy, including a petting zoo hosted by the Critter Barn, barrel train rides from Visser Farms, a scarecrow stilt walker, a pie eating contest with pies donated from Bowerman Blueberries Farm Market and the demonstrations listed below. Not to mention great giveaways all day long too!

10am: Christine Ferris from The Farmhouse Deli and Pantry will demonstrate how to prepare a spinach roulade filled with herbed chevre and a smoky vegetable bahn mi.

11am: Steve Van Dommelen and Julie DeHaan from Hops at 84 East will show attendees how to make refreshing and delicious summer cocktails.

12pm: Do you really love a good blueberry pie? Want to win $100? Learn more and register for the Pie Eating Contest HERE.
