The entire Holland community is invited to remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country at the annual Memorial Day Parade. The parade begins in Downtown Holland at 9:30 am on Monday, May 30. The parade will start at the corner of 8th Street and Central Avenue and travel east to Lincoln Avenue. The parade with then travel south on Lincoln Avenue to 16th Street, where it will end at Pilgrim Home Cemetery. A brief ceremony will take place at the cemetery at the conclusion of the parade.

The Memorial Day Parade is organized by a committee whose goal is to honor living veterans who have served this country and to remember those who have died in service to our country. The committee organizes, manages, and maintains the Memorial Day Parade and works to educate the community on issues of patriotism, service history and the pivotal role played by our service men and women in maintaining our nation’s freedom.
