It’s easy to become a Street Performer in Downtown Holland! Performing artists and groups are invited to apply for a street performing permit if they wish to busk (collect tips) in Downtown Holland. Performers are welcome to perform everyday from 10:00 am – 8:00 pm in approved locations and according to the rules and regulations established by City ordinance. (The exception to this is on Thursdays in June, July and August.) Individual permits are $15 each and group permits are $25 each. (Restrictions do apply to group size.) Permits are valid for the calendar year.
Permits can be purchased at the Downtown Holland office at 44 West 9th Street, or online. Please contact the DDA office at 616.355.1050 or at email@example.com with any questions or clarification of the rules and regulations outlined in the Street Performer ordinance.
Please note that you must be apply, audition and be accepted into the Street Performer Series in the spring if you wish to perform anytime on Thursdays in June, July or August.
