A vibrant arts center located in the heart of Downtown Holland, the Holland Area Arts Council plays a leadership role in enriching the cultural life of the lakeshore area. Exhibition space in three galleries provides the opportunity to showcase the best of local and regional artists through more than twelve exhibits per year.
In addition, the Arts Council coordinates special community activities including family festivals, outdoor concerts, and various events in collaboration with other community organizations, serving more than 50,000 individuals annually. The Holland Area Arts Council also offers more than 150 classes each year in visual and performing arts, reaching more than 1,600 students annually (ranging from pre-school aged children to senior citizens).

Resthaven Care Community

Resthaven was formed in 1945 by a consortium of Reformed and Christian Reformed Churches to provide homes for their elderly church members. The love and care has not faltered through the following 60+ years, but their mission has grown so they now serve over 1,100 elders and their families each year.

Resthaven remains a non-profit, community owned Christian mission focused on serving seniors. They do this by providing homes, in-home services, and health care.

Tulip Time Festival

The festival hosts 3 parades, music and variety shows, concerts, dinner theatre and over 1,100 authentically costumed Dutch dancers.
