The Swift Brothers is folk-pop duo from Lansing, MI. Artists Mark Collins and Dan Laird share a strong musical history that spans close to a decade of playing experience. Beginning with the rock outfit, Palexia Went to England, they released a full length album, Etc., in 2006. After a short hiatus while Mark completed graduate school, they returned in 2013, with new instrumentation and a new sound, reminiscent of Guster, The Lumineers, or Mumford & Sons. The duo is currently in the process of writing material for a new album, which should be completed early in 2015. Drawing from their vast life experiences, The Swift Brothers blend insightful and thought provoking lyrics with infectious melodies and harmonies. From auditioning for the producers of America’s Got Talent, to playing festivals throughout Michigan, The Swift Brothers bring a memorable and energetic live experience sure to be enjoyed by all.
