Art Exhibition - Missed Opportunities

Tiny regrets accumulate throughout life, and many of us question how we have gotten to our current state. We hope to achieve something in this life, or leave a legacy after we are gone. But do our decisions and daily habits carry long-lasting import, or is our existence only precious because it is transient?
Missed Opportunities wrestles with life’s doubts and hopes. Cano Villalobos and Chuchvara transform devalued papers and cloth into relics rich with bodily memory. The time and personal touch each artist invests in her work reflects a desire to find worth in the inconsequential happenings of the everyday. Intimate and painstaking, each mark, stitch and cut records a moment of passing time, a notch that counts our longings.
