Each November, the merchants of Downtown Holland host the annual Holiday Open House! During the Holiday Open House, you’re invited to stroll the decorated and brightly lit streets filled with holiday carolers, shop for one-of-a-kind gifts while enjoying complimentary refreshments and even sample roasted chestnuts! Take a picture with Santa and his favorite Elf or visit his reindeer at the petting corral during this family-friendly event. Then warm up with a cup of hot cocoa at a coffee shop or enjoy a mouth-watering meal at a restaurant or pub.

The Holiday Open House concludes at 8:00 pm with the lighting of the official Downtown Holland Christmas tree. Attendees will be invited to join our sponsor representatives, City officials and of course, Santa Claus himself, as the official Downtown Holland Christmas tree is illuminated with hundreds of sparkling lights. Then stay for a Christmas carol singalong! We promise you won’t want to miss this magical night.
