The Cheap Dates was formed in 2006 by drummer/vocalist Eric Aardema and guitarist/vocalist Simon Panter. The Cheap Dates may look familiar to some, as Simon and Eric are also members in one of the most popular bands in the area, Montage. When Montage is not working, The Cheap Dates get to work, and are considered by many listeners as a “Mini Montage”. The Cheap Dates are certainly not your typical “singer/guitar player duo” singing campy folk songs. The Cheap Dates will give you a full sonic experience.
