Behind the Scenes with the Holland Museum Summer Interns

Join the Holland Museum’s 2023 Summer Interns Jaer Medina, Emily Leegwater, Sofia Biriouk, Wyatt Wilcox, Kaelin Hardenburgh, and Maddalena Frissora as they share about their internship experiences working in Collections, Exhibitions, Communications, Spark!Lab, and at the historic Cappon and Settlers Houses. They will also discuss their exhibition, Cabinets of Curiosities: Oddities from the Archives, which will open in the Lobby Gallery the same evening. This exhibition will be on view until January 2024 and was researched, curated, and installed by this amazing group of interns.
Sofia Biriouk (STEAM Learning Assistant) is an Astrophysics major in the Michigan Honors College at Michigan State University.
Maddalena Frissora (Exhibits Intern) recently completed her Masters in Art History from the Academy of Art University.
Kaelin Hardenburgh (Interpretive Specialist) is a Senior History Major, with a Museum Studies and Digital Cultural Heritage Minor at Michigan State University.
Emily Leegwater (Communications Intern) is a rising senior Communications major at Hope College.
Jaer Medina (Interpretive Specialist) is an Art History major at Grand Valley State University.
Wyatt Wilcox (Collections Intern) is a History major at Hope College.
