Winde Gehringer, Exhibits Coordinator and Michelle Stempien, Education and Community Programs Manager will discuss the stories and creativity behind the art featured in Storied Objects including a fantastic example of a crazy quilt circa 1904, earthenware figurines from Teodora Blanco Nunez, an artist from Oaxaca Mexico who blended traditional aspects of her culture with an imaginative twist, and a bee skep, made to look like Saint Ambrose, the Patron Saint of Beekeeping.
