It’s easy to become a Street Performer in Downtown Holland! Performing artists and groups are invited to apply for a street performing permit if they wish to busk (collect tips) in Downtown Holland. Performers are welcome to perform everyday from 10:00 am – 8:00 pm in approved locations and according to the rules and regulations established by City ordinance. Individual permits are $15 each and group permits are $25 each. (Restrictions do apply to group size.) Permits are valid for the calendar year.
You can apply for a permit online can be purchased online with a credit card or by mailing the application in with a check (made out to the City of Holland) to the Downtown Holland office at 150 West 8th Street. Please note the Street Performer rules and regulations have been updated due to concerns over the spread of COVID-19 and performers are advised to review the brochure carefully. Plans for the 2021 Street Performer Series are currently on pause until capacity restrictions for outdoor events are lifted by the MDHHS, but interested performers should contact [email protected] to receive a copy of Series application. Applications are due by Friday, May 28.
