Grand Rapids pastor Doug Van Doren will speak on race as it relates to our lives in west Michigan. Van Doren has been pastoral leader of Plymouth United Church of Christ since 1978. He received a Master of Divinity degree from The Chicago Theological Seminary with a concentration in Biblical Study and Pastoral Care. For most of his time in Grand Rapids Rev. Van Doren has served on the Board of Directors of the Grand Rapids Urban League, including two years as board chair.
