Join Allison Hoekstra of Navigate Brews for this three-part series at Butch’s Dry Dock. The series will cover the science behind how we serve, taste, and evaluate beer. We will discuss the influence historical beer styles have on contemporary beer. We will walk through the brewing process, highlighting each ingredient used, and it’s flavor contributions. We will taste different malts and hop rubbings, and taste beers fermented with different yeasts. We will focus on certain beer styles and palette-pleasing food pairing concepts. Preregistration is required.
