Under the leadership of Hope’s Nate Roberts, we are offering the community the opportunity to experience American folk music with our series, Bluegrass Jam Sessions!

This bluegrass jam session is free and open to the public and all instruments and ability levels are welcome! The first hour serves as a slow jam, with an educational element mixed in. We slowly walk through common songs, calling out chords and practicing as a group before we jump into playing. After the first hour, anything goes! Bring an instrument and sing a song, pick quietly in the background, or just sit and listen if you’d like!

There will be lots of sharing musical traditions, but most of all – lots of fun!

This program is FREE and we encourage all ages to attend. There is no requirement to participate in the jam – you can just come and enjoy the music in Padnos Gallery!
