Each November, the merchants of Downtown Holland host the annual Holiday Open House! During the Holiday Open House, you’re invited to stroll the decorated and brightly lit streets filled with holiday carolers, shop for gifts while enjoying complimentary refreshments and even sample roasted chestnuts Take a picture with Santa and his favorite Elf or visit his reindeer at the petting corral. Then warm up with a cup of hot cocoa at a coffee shop or enjoy a mouth-watering meal at a restaurant or pub.

The Holiday Open House concludes at 8:00 pm with a tree lighting ceremony and a Christmas carol sing-a-long at the corner of 8th Street and Central Avenue. Attendees will be invited to join our sponsor representatives, City officials and of course, Santa Claus himself, as the official Downtown Holland Christmas tree is illuminated with hundreds of sparkling lights. You won’t want to miss this magical night!
