There is nothing more inevitable than change. The extraordinary development of our state’s viticultural program is setting new standards for Michigan wines. This year, Black Star Farms was awarded as the #1 Riesling in the 2018 Canberra International Riesling Challenge. To follow that accomplishment, numerous 90+ ratings have recently been awarded from Wine Enthusiast and James Suckling to several Southwest Michigan wineries. Now is the time to be proud of your local farmers and reintroduce yourself to the wonderful fruit being created in your own backyard. This May, Butch’s will be showcasing Michigan wineries by hosting several tastings to meet these very winemakers and get involved in their journey.
