Memorial Day Parade

Monday May 29
Downtown Holland

The entire Holland community is invited to remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country at the annual Memorial Day Parade. The Downtown Holland Memorial Day Parade will be held at 9:30 am on Monday, May 29. The parade begins at the corner of 8th Street and Central Avenue and travels east to Columbia Avenue, south to 16th Street and east on 16th Street until it reaches Pilgrim Home Cemetery.

A public program will be held at Pilgrim Home Cemetery at the conclusion of the parade around 11:00 am. (Please note that the parade is not organized by Downtown Holland, so parade questions should be directed to the Holland Memorial Day committee at [email protected].)

The Memorial Day Parade is organized by a committee whose goal is to honor living veterans who have served this country and to remember those who have died in service to our country. The committee organizes, manages, and maintains the Memorial Day Parade and works to educate the community on issues of patriotism, service history and the pivotal role played by our service men and women in maintaining our nation’s freedom.
