Performing artists and groups are invited to apply for a street performing permit if they wish to busk (collect tips) in Downtown Holland. Performers are welcome to perform everyday from 10:00 am – 8:00 pm in approved locations and according to the rules and regulations established by City ordinance. Individual permits are $15 each and group permits are $25 each. (Restrictions do apply to group size and allowable group locations.) Permits are valid for the calendar year.
You can apply for a permit online can be purchased online with a credit card or by mailing the application in with a check (made out to the City of Holland) to the Downtown Holland office at 150 West 8th Street. Please note that the Thursday night Street Performer Series is a separate programmed event by the Downtown Principal Shopping District (PSD) and obtaining a Street Performer Permit does not mean you are automatically considered part of the Series.
